Subculture Terms and Conditions for Subscribers

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Subculture ("we," "our," "us") as a subscriber or reader accessing content published by creators on the platform.
By accessing or subscribing to content on Subculture, you agree to these Terms.

1. Subscriber Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to browse the platform and at least 18 years old to purchase a subscription or access paid content. By using the platform, you represent that your use complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
2. Relationship with Creators
Subculture enables creators to offer paid subscriptions, digital products, and other premium content. When you subscribe to a creator’s offering, you enter into a direct contractual relationship with that creator. The creator—not Subculture—is responsible for the quality, consistency, and delivery of their content.
Subculture is not liable for disputes, refunds, failed expectations, or any other issues that arise from this direct relationship. Any legal claims or disputes must be directed to the creator.
Subculture strongly recommends that you research each creator carefully before deciding to subscribe or purchase content. You are responsible for understanding the creator’s offerings and expectations.
By subscribing, you agree to:
- Follow the creator’s terms or community guidelines.
- Pay all applicable fees for access to content.
- Not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit the creator’s content without permission.
3. Content Access and Behavior
You agree to use Subculture in a respectful and lawful manner. You will not:
- Harass or abuse creators or other subscribers.
- Attempt to access gated content without proper subscription or payment.
- Circumvent or manipulate access restrictions, subscription tools, or payment features.
- Upload or distribute unauthorized content, malware, or spam.
Subculture reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts that violate these standards.
4. Refunds and Subscription Terms
All subscriptions are governed by the terms set by the creator. Some subscriptions may renew automatically depending on your plan.
Subculture does not guarantee refunds for digital subscriptions or purchases. Refunds are managed by the content creator in accordance with their policies.
5. Platform Content and Conduct
We reserve the right to remove or restrict access to content that violates Subculture’s platform-wide content policies, including:
- Hate speech or incitement
- Harassment or exploitation
- Misinformation or misleading claims
- Copyrighted or unauthorized content
6. Data and Privacy
Your use of Subculture is subject to our Privacy Policy. We value your privacy and will never sell your data to third parties. Creators may have access to your name and email address if you subscribe to their content.
You may unsubscribe from a creator’s content or delete your Subculture account at any time.
7. Modifications to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the platform or email. Continued use after updates indicates acceptance.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Subculture, its affiliates, employees, and officers from any claims or disputes arising out of:
- Your relationship with a creator
- Your use of a subscription or digital product
- Any violation of these Terms or another user’s rights
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New York, U.S.A. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York, New York.
